Updates
We are still at two markets on Saturdays Inwood and Fort Greene. We will be at these markets until Dec. 24th.
On the farm we have been able to catch up with much of the field work that needed to be done before next season.
I thank everyone who helped us this season and all the customers who purchased from us each week. It was a very challenging season, but thats what makes farming interesting.

SUPPORT DISASTER ASSISTANCE FOR FARMS
Congressman Gibson has introduced a bill (H.R. 2905) in the House that would allow farmers affected by Tropical Storms Irene and Lee to waive the crop insurance requirement so they could be eligible for USDA disaster assistance programs. This would provide much needed relief to the vegetable, fruit and livestock farms that suffered serious losses. Please send a letter now to your Representative encouraging support and active help to move this bill forward!
