Did You Know? Sweet potatoes and yams are different vegetables. Sweet potatoes are native to South America but yams are native to Africa.
Flavor: Sweet potatoes have a moist and less starchy flesh than yams.

Storage: Store loose in a cool, dark place. They will keep up to three weeks.
Nutrition: High in beta carotene (which the body converts to vitamin A).

2 cups sweet potatoes, cooked (peeled)
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 (8 ounce) packages
reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in blender; blend well.
Pour into greased (I use olive oil cooking spray) pie pan.
Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
